Course Description
Develop knowledge and gain an understanding of the importance in retail food hygiene. Participants will know how to maintain good practice in the handling, processing, and preparation of safe food. Safety procedures, risk assessment, reporting hazards and recognising spoilage only scratch the surface of this qualification. Guidance in the use of protective clothing, hand washing, understanding the importance of pest control and how contamination of food can cause illness in the food retail environment.
