Yes. After completing one of our mental health first aid training courses, you’ll receive an accredited certification that demonstrates your understanding of mental health awareness, your ability to recognise early signs of mental health conditions and your confidence in supporting colleagues appropriately. This qualification helps employers meet HSE guidance around mental health in the workplace and promotes a safer, more supportive work environment.

While there is currently no legal requirement for employers to appoint mental health first aiders, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance states that employers must consider employees’ mental health as part of their overall health and safety responsibilities. Providing mental health training helps organisations meet their duty of care, create a safer workplace and promote open, supportive conversations around wellbeing.

Absolutely, mental health training can have a positive impact. Having trained mental health first aiders helps create an open culture where staff feel safe raising concerns early. This often reduces stress-related absences, supports earlier intervention and encourages employees to seek help before issues escalate. While mental health training isn’t a replacement for professional therapy, it significantly improves workplace wellbeing.

Yes. Mental health challenges can affect employees regardless of where they work, and remote staff may even be at greater risk of feeling isolated or unsupported. Our in-house training is delivered on your premises, but we can schedule sessions when your teams are together. We can also arrange online training for fully remote team members.

All of our mental health training courses, as well as our other training courses, are delivered exclusively in-house at your organisation’s premises. Public or open-enrolment sessions will be available in the future. Training can be scheduled at a time and location that suits your team, allowing staff to learn together in a familiar environment.
