QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid Work (RQF)

 

An advanced, comprehensive HSE compliant three day first aid qualification for all workplaces, specifically designed for high risk working environments. Master CPR skills and recognise a major injury or illness with greater confidence.

Who is the course suitable for?

 

Nominated first aiders should take this course, where knowledge of major conditions (Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Heart Attack, Angina, Diabetes, Seizures, Stroke), is required, equipping them with the skills and practical experience to administer first aid specific to your workplace requirements.

QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid Work Re-qualification (RQF)

 

Candidates can renew their First Aid at Work certificate by completing the two day refresher training and continue as a workplace first aider. This qualification refreshes the knowledge and first aid skills acquired during the initial First Aid at Work course.

What does the course include?

This two-day re-qualification course designed for existing first aiders covers content included in the initial three-day First Aid at Work course in a shorter format. QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid Work (RQF)

 

Do you work in a low risk workplace environment? This one day qualification is ideal for a nominated first aider, covering a range of incidents and equipping the candidate with core knowledge and skills to effectively administer first aid.

QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to an Incident with an AED (RQF)

Combining effective CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) with the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) greatly improves a casualty's chances of survival. This three hour course is designed to equip confidence in the use of an AED and educates the importance of prompt action in a life-threatening situation.

QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF)

 

Do you know anyone at risk of reacting to an allergy? Given the serious nature of an anaphylactic reaction, recognising the signs and symptoms allows you to respond accordingly. This course equips a candidate with the knowledge instructed to the national standards.

What does the course include?

This three hour course is mapped to the current Resus Council (UK) guidelines covers basic life support, common triggers, recognising and minimising the risk of an allergic reaction, and managing the condition with the correct use of approved adrenaline auto-injectors. 

Who is the course suitable for?

 

Designated first aiders working with any individual or children in nurseries and other early years settings at significant risk of an allergic reaction should undertake this course to gain a firm understanding of Anaphylaxis.
